The Gates

By Tammy Derouin

Some things never change.  Our-soon-to be former president is encouraging the protesters and rioters to show their displeasure with the outcome of the election.  Instead of calling for calmness, he is once again stoking the fire.  Should we really be surprised?

Obama’s presidency has been a continuous, non-stop attempt to create unrest.  It’s as if his policies and dictatorial orders were an intentional attempt to divide the American people.  A Clinton presidency would have continued the war against Americans.  Those who refuse to see reality may continue to deny the truth, but I think history will eventually put all speculation to rest.

We cannot always control what is going to happen, but we gain some control when we decide how we are going to proceed and handle the situation.  How you react to an action, in many cases, determines whether things will escalate or simmer.  There is usually a bright or positive side even when things don’t go as you envisioned.

I understand that many Americans are disappointed in the outcome of the election.  Many of the reasons being thrown around are imaginary fears, being fueled by their party.  The election is over, Mr. Trump has won.  Let’s give him the same chance that so many gave Mr. Obama upon his unbelievable rise to the presidency.

I also understand that we are living in a time when hypocrisy is king.  We know very well that if the tables were turned, Obama and his party would be condemning such unruly behavior if they were the target.  We would be assured that our rights and freedoms are not on the chopping block, despite eight years of proof to the contrary.

It is time we start looking at the positive side to the outcome of this election.  We should be relieved that an individual with a trail of corruption, going back to her early professional career, did not make it to the White House.  It’s mind-boggling to comprehend that Hillary actually made it this far with so many scandals attached to her name.  The “gates” alone are enormous. There’s Filegate, Pardongate, Travelgate, Giftgate, Chinagate and Emailgate.  But the list continues; accusations of using the IRS to target political opposition, intimidating those who accused Bill Clinton of less than honorable behavior while he was president, Whitewater, missing records and files, cattle futures, receiving funds from questionable individuals and countries.

Hillary’s long time personal assistant, Huma Abedin, has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.  Her former Chief of Staff and counselor, Cheryl Mills, has been accused of perjury and obstruction of justice.  Mills is also a key member of the Clinton Foundation.  Onward we go.  The Clinton Foundation scandal, the body count of those who keep committing suicide or have unexplained deaths and the amount of people who have gone to prison is astonishing.

The Benghazi attack cost four American lives.  The intent to cover up the truth from the beginning of the attack and the continuous lying to the family members, Congress and the American people is beyond comprehension.

Information and the truth in general have been ignored by main stream media.  Facts, which should have the country, as a whole, giving one big sigh of relief that she didn’t win the election, have been ignored, dismissed and repackaged into a false reality.

If we look back to her early years, we will see that she was highly influenced by Saul Alinsky, a radical community leader.  He was the subject of her senior thesis in college.  She apparently couldn’t wait to get a copy of his book, Rules for Radicals.

It was her involvement in the 1974 Watergate investigation that should have served as a warning.  She was a member of the House Judiciary committee.  Her supervisor, Democrat Jerry Zeifman fired her and called her a liar.  According to WND, Zeifman stated, “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer.”  But he didn’t stop there, “She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”  And that was only the beginning of her career.

Perhaps another positive that could come out of this election is that the media will be held accountable.  They are supposed to report the news, not twist it, turn it, hide and bury it.  Maybe, just maybe, the Department of Education will get turned upside down or eliminated altogether. The reaction to the outcome of the election, especially by those in high school and college, is disgraceful.  It’s also proof that the educational system has failed miserably. We have created the weakest generation of Americans.  Many are so out of touch with reality they cannot see they have just been saved from themselves.

“What difference at this point does it make?”
