"Of course, it’s worth pointing out that what the Republican Party did while they had control of Congress was not obstructionism. It was exercising their advise and consent role to a president who much preferred that his pen and phone do all the talking.

Now, though, voters have put the Republican Party in control of both the legislative and executive branches, which means that the opponents of imaginary obstructionism have become the proponents of very real obstructionism. If that doesn’t show you how hypocritical Democrats are, I don’t know what will."
