Arm Chair Psychiatry

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I'd have to say that in today's world, questioning someones mental well-being is the surest sign of desperation. The antics of the Left never cease to amaze me. Some of their attention grabbing stunts would be comical if they weren't so sad, depressing and even down right dangerous for our society.

There was a time when the thought of wearing a pink knitted beanie with cat ears, also known as a female genitalia hat, in public, would have caused others to question the sanity of the individual(s) involved. The local knitting club would have been shocked but today's militant feminist embrace such displays. Are they insane?

This past week the Washington Times posted an article by Jessica Chasmar which states, “The largest psychiatric organization in the world is calling for an end to “arm chair” psychiatry in light of allegations that President Trump is mentally unfit to serve.” The article goes on to state, “The American Psychiatric Association (APA) released a statement Tuesday reaffirming its commitment to “The Goldwater Rule,” which states that it is unethical for psychiatrists to diagnose public figures they have not personally examined.”

Questioning the mental state of President Trump or stating that he is unfit to serve as President of the United States is nothing new. It was very difficult for many on the Left to accept the reality of the election. They could not understand how or why so many Americans did not want Hillary to be president. A whole new level of mudslinging went into motion.

The tactics of the Left, or for those who try to control or destroy others, are meant to wear an individual or a movement down. All sorts of allegations are launched with the hope that something will stick. When false information is repeated many times over and individuals back false information to push an agenda, it creates a desired mess. The more outrageous and unbelievable the false reality is spun and pushed, the more urgent it becomes to act, or so they would have you believe. Many conflicts are strategically created in are an effort to physically wear you down and mentally drain you. Actions and resolutions which are based on lies hurt everyone.

In the case of President Trump, it is no longer surprising to learn that false information was used against him to create an alternate reality. Every day we are learning about more information which was hidden by the spineless press. Every day it becomes clearer that had Hillary won, our country would have lost. The Left will use a crises to create chaos or they will create their own crisis to meet their desired needs. The press simply follows and performs tricks for treats. For far too many years their lack of reporting has damaged our country.

President Trump got the best revenge, not only did he survive his first year, he was highly successful. But, that's enough right there to keep the embers burning. The Left is angry. Not only did they lose the election, they've had to watch as Trump soared with success. That has caused more anger. The attacks not only continued, but the viciousness has increased.

When desperation sets in, attacking someone's mental state is just another tool from their bag of tricks. It is meant to inflict pain and raise questions. Could it be true? However, once you get past the smoke and mirrors, you realize it's just another empty attack. It pays to be patient, so let's watch as the truth unfolds.

Were we not in a state of insanity when the former president attempted to destroy our country from within by allowing open borders, catch and release, Fast and Furious, create domestic unrest by siding with criminals, reducing our military, bowing to our enemy, inviting the enemy into the White House, targeting political opponents and groups, funding Iran, creating more dependency on the government, lying to the American people, the Benghazi cover up, Uranium One, voter fraud, the misuse of government agencies among other scandals?

If protecting our borders and putting the American people first, while supporting our allies and defeating our enemies, is the definition of insanity, well so be it. In the meantime, take comfort in knowing that the Left is getting desperate. They can't stand the fact that Trump not only upset their agenda, but he has been so successful at rebuilding America. They have to find ways to try to destroy him. They even have to spin that more money in the hands of the people, not the government, is somehow a bad thing and cannot be allowed. That's insane!
