Justice Dept.: 'Sanctuary' jurisdictions may have to repay federal funds - Washington Times:

"The Justice Department on Wednesday warned 29 jurisdictions, including three states, they might have to pay back millions of dollars in federal public safety grants received last year because their local policies are suspected of violating federal immigration law.
The warnings are the broadest yet issued by the Justice Department to so-called sanctuary cities believed to be hampering cooperation between local law enforcement and immigration authorities. The jurisdictions put on notice include the states of Illinois, Vermont and Oregon, as well as cities such as D.C., Denver, Los Angeles and San Francisco."
