Curtain of Darkness

Truth, justice and the American way were once acceptable standards in American society.  Somewhere along the line, truth and justice were discarded and it became politically incorrect to say, “…And the American way.”  We now live in a society where the Joker runs rampant and Superman cowers in the corner apologizing for his very existence.  Spinning the world into chaos and bringing about death and destruction has become the new standard.  Spinning the earth to right the wrongs, is a dusty, old concept.

What is the definition of the American way in present day America?  When did the American way become politically incorrect and why?  Why do those in power seek to destroy the land of the free and home of the brave?  Why have we allowed so many of our leaders to arm the Jokers of the world, while disarming the American people?  

 

The ruling party arms the very people who openly call for the destruction of our nation.  Our leaders invite our enemies into the White House.  They sit across the table from them in negotiations; seemingly more concerned about securing a deal for those who wish to destroy us, than keeping the United States safe and secure.

The administration might as well put Kryptonite on the table.  They do such a good job of crippling the United States.  Our leaders think they can negotiate with entities which clearly state their hatred for us and their desire to eliminate the U.S. and our allies. Are they truly so naïve or is there something more sinister taking place?  The answer for me is very clear.  The answers lie within the history books. 

The actions of this administration fall in line with other tyrannical rulers who emerged out of the dust.  In some cases, the future tyrant creates the chaos which causes unrest and conflict.   Once the dust settles, the individual and his soon to be recognized thugs, emerged with the answers to the chaos, which were originally created by the now tyrant in power.  What an interesting way of achieving a goal; know your desire, create a conflict and emerge as a hero. 

The powers that be have studied very well.  They have managed to repackage Kryptonite.  They have used their, “government knows best” influence, to take a nation of independent thinking; self-reliant individuals who once considered hand-outs insulting and could spot a Kryptonite salesman on the other side of the ocean, into a nation of dependency.

America once stood for truth and justice.  If that is no longer the American way, what is?  We are living in a world where nothing makes sense.  Up is down and right is wrong.  The Joker is the hero and Superman is the villain.  We have reduced Superman to a cowering outlaw; much like the United States of America, the once greatest nation in the world.  We are losing our exceptionalism; our freedom.

When you look at the behavior of the ruling administration, it’s easy to see they have replaced Truth, Justice and the American way with a new mantra. Actions speak louder than words so the message I’m receiving is more like, deceit, injustice and a guaranteed path to enslavement.  I think that more accurately described the progressive way of doing things.

Of course, deceit and injustice only applies to natural born American citizens.  It will not apply to the elite, the illegal immigrants or our enemies.  Well, not until they have outlived their usefulness.  If we willingly accept living in a land of men rather than a land of laws; we have traded our freedom for enslavement.  Our God given freedoms and basic rights are not for them to take, however, we can certainly trade them for what’s behind the curtain of darkness.

Truth and honesty are no longer valued.  Independent thoughts and actions are discouraged.  American history is changing to fulfill an agenda and too many Americans are actually buying into the claim that the people didn’t build this nation. 

Those in power want more power.  They want more control over your life.  The only way to do that is to convince you that you never had control.  They want you to believe that it was always the government which provided all of your needs.  The great tyrants of the past understood that a lie, repeated, preached and pounded until bloody, will become truth. 

This administration has taken the spirit of the American people and locked it in a dark room filled with kryptonite. What do we stand for America?  Kryptonite is what Kryptonite does.
