All Sales Are Final

Puzzles are challenging.  When you get stuck do you give up and throw it back in the box?  Do you reshape the pieces and force them where you think they belong?  Do you study the picture for guidance?  America has had many un-American puzzle pieces forced into our picture.  The original design has been ignored.  What will it look like in the end?

The Muskegon Police Department recently acquired a military vehicle.  The growing collection of military grade equipment continues to grow at the local level across the nation.  The police need equipment but there is something unsettling about military equipment.  Safety and security is important.  However, when power is abused in the name of safety, it imprisons everyone. 

Look at some of the puzzle pieces.  The president once stated, “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Why would Obama want to have civilian military units throughout the United States?  When he became President, the United States was the most powerful country in the world.  He weakened our military and made us vulnerable to attack.  Dictators fear the people.  This is why they disarm the population and heavily arm those in the regime. When tyranny rules, the police are feared.  If the mention of the KGB and Gestapo doesn’t make you tremble, read history. 

Rahm Emanuel served as Obama’s Chief of Staff.  He is the current Mayor of Chicago.  Emanuel once stated, “Citizenship is not an entitlement program.  It comes with responsibilities.  Everybody between the ages of 18 and 25 will serve three months of basic training and understanding in a kind of defense.  That universal service – somewhere between the ages of 18 and 25 – will give Americans, once again, a sense of what they are to be American and their contribution to country and common experience.  As you look at World War II, now that was a draft – this is not a draft.  It is universal service.”

Once I lifted my jaw and retrieved my eyeballs, I sat in motionless shock, and then I got angry.  Citizenship is indeed a privilege, not an entitlement program.  Why does the government provide entitlements to those who come here illegally?  Why does our government encourage illegal activity?  Our government has devalued citizenship by attempting to give it away, thereby creating a crisis.

Once again the progressives repackage an idea in order to sell it.  Service in our military is voluntary unless there is a threat.  If you don’t have an option, universal service is their repackaged word for draft.  They change a word here or there but the meaning is still the same.  Universal service is supposed to teach Americans how to be American?  The government is forcing an agenda which includes teaching what they want you to believe.  Freedom will naturally create a feeling of pride in country.  Force instills fear and behavior is altered.  Let’s just call it what it is, re-education training. 

Michelle Obama has contributed puzzle pieces as well.  She has stated, “The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more.”   That’s called redistribution of wealth.  Forcefully taking from one and giving it to another isn’t charity, its robbery, government sanctioned robbery.  It becomes an entitlement and creates a division, a class war.  Wait a minute; didn’t Rahm Emanuel say that citizenship wasn’t an entitlement program?  They change their words to fulfill their agenda.  It’s a means to an end.  Or perhaps her intention is to redistribute American wealth to non-citizens.  It wouldn’t be the first time this administration ignored the citizens to take better care of outsiders and our enemies.

There are also these infamous words of Michelle Obama, "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation." 

Based on the final picture, this isn’t a puzzle anybody would desire.  Many examples are available on the shelves of history.  The picture would scare even those who are so out of touch with reality, firmly back in the driver’s seat.  The progressives however, know this and therefore they don’t furnish a completed picture.  Instead they sell a dream, a perfect world.  They describe how wonderful it will be upon completion.  All you need to do is buy it so you can find out what’s inside.  All sales are final.
