Forward Colored Glasses

There was a time in our history when it was popular for young people to go find themselves.  An individual who wasn’t satisfied and feeling lost may have used such feelings as a reason to abandon the acceptable path and go backpacking across Europe.  I’m not against anybody having an adventure just as long as it doesn’t cost taxpayers a penny.  Taxpayer money was never intended to fund the dreams of its citizens and politicians; including the fallout from the messes they make. The government wasn’t set up to be a safety net.

Progressives have the determination of a puppy on a lawn.  The lawn is beautiful.  That doesn’t mean it hasn’t had its share of problems. Unwanted critters causing damage, disease infestations, droughts, flooding, among other harsh conditions, have made its survival challenging.  With care and due diligence, the lawn survives.  A puppy doesn’t see a lawn as beautiful; he sees it as a play yard.  If not trained properly, there will be ankle breaking holes, yellow burnt grass and many other signs of a puppy without restraints.

Progressives are determined to be successful, whatever the cost.  They will repackage, reshape and redistribute the same old vile product with the hope that you won’t recognize the evidence from the past.  If that doesn’t work, they have a hammer and a sickle.  Their failures have only multiplied over time.  Maybe that’s why they’re pushing Common Core so aggressively.  They need to redesign math, science, history and the role of government.

Their propaganda department has one objective; make manure look desirable and needed.  How do they convince Americans that their product is so much better than our current God given rights?  We have a system that doesn’t require a shovel, hip boots or data mining.  Is this what Obama meant by shovel ready?

The Progressive Propaganda Department is charged with convincing the people that Communism, the most destructive plan known to mankind, is the only solution.  They must find a way to remove the importance of our independence and self-reliance.  An independent, free thinking society would reject the enslavement of Communism. 

Our freedoms, our very rights, are being turned into burdens; negative liberties.  They paint colorful pictures and make promises full of hope.  You are forced to purchase FORWARD colored glasses to hide the change.  Those glasses are expensive!  They have to be.  Manure is manure.  It takes a lot of technology to turn it into a pile of gold.  That’s why you have to purchase the glasses.  That’s exactly why you can’t keep your current lenses no matter how much you like them.  They aren’t equipped with the anti-manure deflecting lenses.  They have an answer for everything.  The more you argue against their idiotic logic, the more you become a target. 

It’s a good thing they can’t go after you without just cause.  Whoops!  Well, at least they can’t intrude into your private life and read your emails or listen to your conversations without a warrant.  Oops!  Don’t worry; they’ll never use a Drone to attack an American.  Well not unless it’s decided by the collective that the individual is really bad and an exception must be made.  I know, you’re not doing anything wrong but you don’t decide what’s right or wrong.  The ruling party will decide that for you.  Do you own a gun?  Do you question the government?  Do you believe in the Constitution?  Did you say something they didn’t like?  If it’s getting too scary, you can grab those glasses any time.  They can be quite soothing once you get past the nausea.

The Constitution was written with a system of checks and balances.  No one branch is stronger than the other.  When two of the three branches refuse to limit the power of one, we have a crisis.  Executive Orders have allowed our dictator to assume all the power he wants.  All he needs is a crisis.  He knows how to create a problem. He already has the solution.  When will he strike the match? 

There was a time in our history when it was popular to be proud to be an American.  An individual who wasn’t satisfied and feeling lost may have used such feelings to step out of his comfort zone and start his own business.  I’m not against anybody having an adventure just as long as it doesn’t cost taxpayers a penny.  Taxpayer money was never intended to fund the dreams of its citizens or politicians.  That should also include the fallout from the messes they make. The government wasn’t set up to be a safety net.

Our country wasn’t lost until we allowed the Progressives to take us off track.  We don’t need to go backpacking across Europe; Europe has come to us.
