Where Will You Be?

Our president continues to appoint those with questionable principles and job performance records.  An appointment used to be a reward for a job well done.  Instead, he rewards those who are willing and able to make harmful decisions against our country.  This has become a prerequisite for promotions in the Obama administration.  In any other industry such a questionable person would have been kicked off the team, not made captain.

Obama promotes those who share his vision, which means dismantling the structure and foundation of the United States.  Can you imagine the unrest at your work place if someone continuously failed at their job by implementing programs with disastrous results?  Okay, there’s a learning curve so we give this employee a second chance.  It baffles me that he got a second chance but ok, let’s go with it. He didn’t learn from his mistakes.  He continues to make harmful decisions.  Eventually, it is discovered that they weren’t mistakes at all but a covert operation for a complete takeover.  It’s also discovered that he has made the company vulnerable to attack by removing defense mechanisms and hiring those who wish to divide and conquer. 

The facts are on the table.  The board members, along with the stockholders and employees, have the evidence before them.  There’s evidence of scandals, corruption, lies and deception.  The most arrogant of them all, changing company rules without going through proper procedures. Your company manual was changed and you didn’t even know it.  He told you he was going to do it but you didn’t think he actually meant what he said.  Your benefits are gone! 

You’re not without blame.  You applauded, cheered and smiled as he told you what he was going to do.  You even bought into the lies when common sense should’ve told you otherwise.  History is going to be vicious when coming generations read that the greatest country in the world fell because of lies and deceit.  Of course, that’s provided the government allows anybody to be educated in anything other than Mao and communism.  You can’t tell me that you would blindly sign on the dotted line without knowing what you were signing. 

We allowed ourselves to be conned.  Our elected officials and so many Americans supported a bill pitched with maximum arrogance.  The only way we were going to see what was in it, was to pass it?  Has stupidity entered the drinking water and the air that we breathe?  There are some things in life that should never, ever be gambled away.  We no longer value freedom so we put it on the table and risk it all for what’s behind door number one, two or three.  When you’re willing to risk such a precious gift, those in power will stack the odds against you.  There will be a goat behind every door. 

We perpetuate our dire situation by buying into more of their manufactured lies.  They’ve convinced us that a goat is a valuable prize in exchange for our freedom.  We accept their reasons without question.  We smile and cheer that we have a goat.  They smile a sinister smile that they’ve convinced us that a goat is better than life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; our freedoms.

You know that feeling you get when someone is trying to convince you of something that just doesn’t add up?  Something about their story isn’t right but you lack information to argue against them.  That’s us America!  There was a time when we would’ve excused ourselves from the conversation and checked into the facts.  Unfortunately, our first line of fact checkers, the press, went over to the dark side years ago.  If we would have been paying attention, we would’ve realized the press was no longer a good source of information.  Had we checked out the information ourselves, we would’ve been armed for the next round.   Instead, we’re standing in the middle of the ring, blindfolded with our hands tied behind our back.  We decided to take the word of the Master of Illusion.  Because of this error, the ability to arm ourselves with information and weapons is disappearing at rapid speed.

The president’s motive to dismantle the United States has become blatantly obvious.  In the real world an attempt to do such harm would be considered a conspiracy and treason.  All the factors and players are there, yet we continue to look away.  One day, the United States, land of the free, will be gone forever.  Where will you be when it all comes crashing down?
