White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre appeared not to know President Joe Biden's past statements about the oil industry when she was confronted by reporter Peter Doocy on high gas prices.
Jean-Pierre made the comments during Wednesday's media briefing at the White House after the president announced an additional release from the Strategic Petroleum Reserves in an attempt to relieve high gas prices ahead of the midterms.
