Gloom
and Doom
By

Envy
and jealousy can be very destructive and can cause inappropriate
behavior. Prosperity eludes the Democratic Party because their
answer for everything is more government control and more taxes.
This kind of thinking enslaves a society. If packaged and sold
correctly, it has a way of keeping Democrats in office.
Hillary
Clinton's non-stop whining tour continues as she blames everyone but
herself for her failure to reach the White House. Her rhetoric and
that of her party has taken another departure from reality. We
truly dodged a massive political fiasco. Her administration would
have been a continuation of failed progressive and anti-freedom
policies. Can you imagine the judges she would have nominated?
Hillary
Clinton and her party are showing signs of desperation. Their
fear-mongering abilities and deceptive ways are nothing short of
expected behavior. Nothing they pull out of their chest of gloom and
doom surprises me. The Democrats had their heels already dug in as
their protesters showed up with fill-in-the-blank signs, ready to
oppose anyone the President nominated to the Supreme Court. I think
they would have freaked out even if he would have appointed a
far-Left activist. There may have been a slight moment of stunned
silence as the masses waited for instructions. Once the programmers
fixed the collective thinking link and got them back online, the hate
and bashing would have continued. Thankfully, the President
understands the role of the judiciary, which is not activism but
interpretation of the law.
Judge
Kavanaugh's understanding of the responsibilities of a judge was
refreshing to hear. What he stated is what I learned as a student;
the basics of Separation of Powers in our system of government. It
is not the role of a judge to change the law or re-word presented
evidence to make the argument work for a particular side. Doing so
is wrong, very dangerous and shouldn't be tolerated. It creates
activism within the judicial system, exactly where it doesn't belong.
It's the duty of a judge to interpret the law as written, regardless
if he agrees or disagrees with the outcome. It is up to the
President to enforce the law and Congress to make or change the laws.
It
is very concerning when individuals call for actions which go against
our founding documents of freedom and liberty. We have a system in
place which follows a process, a rule of law not rule of man.
Attacking President Trump for enforcing the law is ridiculous and
shows ignorance of our system of government. He has an obligation
and has taken an oath to protect and uphold the U.S. Constitution.
If he didn't enforce the law and he ignored clear and present threats
to our national security, then there would be an argument against
him.
Judge
Kavanaugh's acceptance speech should be encouraging to everyone
because he supports rule of law. The process of confirmation needs
to continue but we do not need a witch hunt. I wonder if the
individuals, be they within the government or the average citizen
which yell and scream the loudest, have even read the Constitution.
The
U.S. Constitution is a document of liberty and needs to be protected
from those who would destroy our freedom and security as a nation.
After years of watching an administration weaponize government
departments against political opponents and disregarding the law and
the process to further their agenda, a return to law and order is
much overdue.
President
Trump has been extremely successful despite efforts to claim his
presidency is invalid. The envy and jealousy for creating prosperity
and preserving freedom is evident. The policies of the Left have
failed and fear has driven them to take steps to try to preserve
their political future. Dependency creates job security for
Democrats. Independence creates prosperity and freedom for all.
“A
judge must be independent and must interpret the law, not make the
law. A judge must interpret statues as written. And a judge must
interpret the Constitution as written, informed by history and
tradition and precedent.”
Judge
Brett Kavanaugh
