To The Left

We are willingly trading our freedom for a false sense of security.  The Left would have us believe that removing gun rights from law abiding citizens is going to reduce radical Islamic terrorist attacks.  More gun laws will not prevent this type of an attack.  A terrorist is a terrorist, a criminal is a criminal and evil is evil.  Each will act regardless of the law.

 

You know what would reduce these attacks; a president who cared about the United States.  If we had a president who valued the rights and safety of the American people, we wouldn’t be dealing with attacks on our own soil.  But, we have an individual who appeases and aids our enemy.  I really thought our Constitution stated something about this kind of behavior. 

We have a president who likes to lecture Americans after we’ve been attacked.  He doesn’t want us to judge our enemy based on the actions of the few; the ones who have actually carried out their desire to destroy us.  He wags his finger at Americans because of his lack of courage to utter the words radical Islam or jihad. He judges all law abiding gun owners by the actions of a few.  Funny how the request for respect only goes one way, to the Left!

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a president who had the bombs to stare evil in the eyes while blasting it into oblivion?  Believe it or not, America used to destroy evil.  We used to be tough; a take no jihad kind of nation. There was a time, not so long ago, when we didn’t cower and appease our enemies.  

There will be many more attacks if we continue to allow our government to ignore the real problem.  The Orlando attack was first and foremost an Islamic terrorist attack.  This time the gay community was the target.  Why are we surprised?  When are the special interest groups going to wake up and realize they are being used?  The Left wants votes so they’ve become a means to an end. 

Christians and other religions are not on a mission to kill people.  Radical Islam is terrorizing the world.  It’s time for the world, the United States, to stand up to evil.  But, the Left is already blaming the political right for the Orlando terrorist attack.  We need to stay focused and recognize the true enemy.  Americans, from all walks of life, are the target; Americans were attacked.

Our Second Amendment is on the chopping block.  The First Amendment and the rest will soon follow.  Foolish individuals are cheering away our freedoms.  What do they think protects their right to think and believe as they wish? The Second Amendment is necessary to protect all of our rights from those who would harm us, including a tyrannical government.  Eliminating weapons from law abiding citizens will place all weapons in the hands of criminals, terrorist and the government. History is full of examples of the blood bath which follows after a tyrant gains control.

We have put a government in place which is using special interest groups to further their agenda.  We have put a government in place which sympathizes with our enemies and doesn't stop them from infiltrating our homeland. They also have a very nasty attitude towards women, children, homosexuals and anyone who doesn’t believe as they believe.  What do you suppose could happen when votes are no longer needed?   

If we had a president who secured our borders and didn’t openly and carelessly allow every undocumented individual to enter our country, we wouldn’t have to worry about terrorist sleeper cells or wonder where they will strike next.  Instead, we have an administration which took undocumented individuals, gave them all sorts of entitlements, straight from the paychecks of hard working Americans, and relocated them all throughout our country.  Whose side is this administration truly supporting?

Many, in this politically correct, insane world, will say that the no fly list and individuals on the terror watch list are acceptable exceptions for denying access to guns.  On the surface, that may sound like a good idea.  But wait; don’t vote away freedom so quickly.  The government determines the definition of a terrorist or a radical.  We, the people, are assuming that only Islamic radicals, foreign or home grown, will be placed on that list.  What prevents the government from changing the criteria; to benefit the ruling party?  What if the government feels you are dangerous because you do not fall in lock step with their destructive agenda?  What if you are placed on such a list because of your beliefs?  Your rights are gone simply for thinking, speaking or believing freely.  Some weapons for thought.
