The Mastermind

When you attempt to make sense of insanity, you come to two very different conclusions.  The first is nothing short of madness.  After all, the definition of insanity includes words such as foolishness, recklessness, stupidity and lunacy.  When the actions of an individual or a group are so far detached from normal and acceptable behavior, insanity is the only way to describe their conduct.

The second is brilliance.  When someone’s behavior or way of thinking seems odd or unusual but the end result brings about breakthroughs and discoveries or constructive and positive benefits, they are called visionaries.  Visionaries dare to dream and attempt the impossible despite being labeled insane.

I think most people have good intentions.  They strive to do what’s best and do not try to harm others. Most Americans have enjoyed the benefits of living life with little interference from the government.  Our Constitution is loaded with positive liberties.  It describes what the government cannot do to the citizens.  We really should dust off the old document and take a closer look at it.  You would be amazed at how much we’ve allowed ourselves to be violated. 

A mastermind conjures up negative thoughts and is usually a villain.  Words such as architect, instigator and organizer are used to define a mastermind.  They hatch and devise plans which usually have harmful outcomes for everyone.  In most fictional stories the mastermind is defeated.  There was once a time when the United States defeated real masterminds and those who desired to control the world.  The United States cannot react appropriately when the citizens have allowed themselves to be duped.

A mastermind knows what he is doing.  He knows how to control people. Nudging people down the wrong path, a path that well-informed individuals wouldn’t take, requires a certain amount of trust.  How do you gain the trust of those you wish to control without scaring them before the sinister plan is revealed? 

Like any good villain, you get them hooked on something.  You give them whatever they want or desire.  You tell them you are the only one who has what they need and will supply it for them indefinitely.  You look them in the eyes and lie to them while smiling and distracting them from reality.  You make them totally dependent.  Once they are dependent, they will also come to your rescue and defend you if your character or intentions are attacked.  The mastermind will attempt to convince everyone that enslavement is better than freedom.

A mastermind is a brilliant villain.  He is capable of convincing the masses that insane behavior, in its true form, is the new sanity.  He is even able to convince many that our enemy is good and we should invite them into our home. 

A mastermind can take behavior once thought of as foolish, reckless, stupid and loony and repackage it, market it and sell it as wise, cautious, sensible and sane.  A fundamental transformation takes place.  All which was once right is now wrong and everything which was once wrong is now right.  The world, our nation and our lives have been completely inverted and we cheered because the ride was fun.

Eventually, the ride comes to an end.  The mastermind has you hooked on the rush.  While you were laughing, cheering and enjoying the high of getting everything you were told you were entitled to, the ride comes to a crashing end.

If only you would have actually read the blueprint for yourself before you got on board with all of the misleading lies.  Instead you believed a Constitutional scholar.  A Constitutional scholar wouldn’t be misleading, would he?  Someone who knows and understands the Constitution would want to preserve it, not destroy it, right?

A fundamental transformation requires a wolf to appear as a sheep.  Eventually, you understand why he has big ears, big eyes and big teeth.  Once he’s got you within striking distance, your world is flipped once again, but it is too late.

The Constitution which once protected you will no longer exist.  Your freedoms and your rights, as stated in our once sacred documents as coming from God, will now be handed out by man.  A nation of laws will become a nation of men.  May God help you if you do not agree with the ruling party.

Our home, which we failed to protect, was handed over to our enemy.  A ruthless, barbaric people who never hid the fact that they wanted to destroy us.  We were too busy believing the lies and bowing to political correctness to see the truth. We ignored history.  We ignored that little voice which kept telling us something was very, very wrong.

Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up before this nightmare becomes reality?
