American Tyranny

A friend of mine stopped me and asked what was new in
politics. I stated that lies have become
normal acceptable practice. Lies and deceit are nothing new, especially in
politics. What is disturbing is how our
attitudes have changed. We accepted
deceit.
Lying is now fashionable.
Politicians who have been caught in countless lies, questionable and unethical
behavior, wear their deceit with pride. Actions which should have cost them
their careers are seemingly prerequisites for their next post. They smile as they have the audacity to ask
the American people to trust them and elect them back into office.
Shame on us! We no
longer distance ourselves from the shadowy figures. We no longer demand accountability or
punishment for those who conspire against us.
A lair is a liar and a thief is a thief. We have allowed our government to become
both. Because we decided to look the
other way when things didn’t sound right or didn’t add up, we have created
American Tyranny.
Do you see the hypocrisy?
Many who participated in anti-establishment and radical activities during
their youth demanded that their voices be heard, one of their freedoms. Didn’t they rant about not trusting the
government or those who were older?
Well, they grew up. Now many from
the anti-establishment generation are running our government and or, have very
close ties with those in government.
If we took a page out of their playbook, we shouldn’t trust
them, should we? They’ve proven time and
time again that they can’t be trusted.
They’ve been caught in countless lies.
Their actions paint a very distressing picture for our future.
Have you notice how they get a little aggravated when they
are questioned? Actually, they get very
irritated and downright vindictive. How
dare anyone question their authority?
They know what’s best, just ask them. Seek and destroy has become common
practice. Peace and love are long
gone. The question, “Why can’t we all
get along?” is complicated. We are
individuals with uniquely different thoughts and backgrounds. They demand tolerance from others toward them
but unleash vengeful furry on those who disagree with their ideology. The proof is out there.
Government agencies have been used to harass and destroy
lives. The IRS was used to target political
opposition. Search and seizures have
been used in different parts of the country against political opponents and
those who exercise their God given rights. Intimidation is the tool used to
gain control.
I fail to understand why the American people have accepted
so much deceit. Our system of government
is changing right before our eyes. The atmosphere which has been created is
taking us down a very dark path. The
spin doctors go into overdrive to produce additional lies when their original
deceptive actions come to light. Hell
hath no fury like a progressive exposed.
Many who were anti-establishment have now created quite the
establishment for themselves. They are
the elite. The disadvantaged people they claim to champion haven’t been
helped. They’ve made them dependent on
the system, the government. They are
the government! Have you ever dealt with
someone who has control issues? Your
dependency is their security.
Why is our government becoming more and more anti-Christian?
The Golden Rule doesn’t allow any wiggle
room. “Do unto others as you would have
them do unto you.” They preach and enjoy
telling others what to do. They’ve
become their parents in this regard; don’t do as I do, do as I say. Oh, and then there’s the Commandments. Much like the Bill of Rights, there are a
whole lot of obstacles for those who desire ultimate control.
As a nation, we have allowed them to hypnotize us with their
colorful speeches. It’s all hype meant
to stir up anxiety or excitement. They
dangle trinkets and make promises, whatever it takes to get what they
want. The showmanship has convinced many
that they need the government. After
all, the executive has stated that you aren’t responsible for your
success. Entitlements have increased
dramatically during this administration.
The rich are not evil. And no,
you don’t deserve a higher wage just because you want it. Do something to earn it.
What happened to personal responsibility? It isn’t the government’s responsibility to
provide anyone with food, shelter or clothing.
But, we are way beyond that, aren’t we?
The more the government provides the more dependent the citizens become,
which allows the government to control your life and that gives them security.
