Instability Ahead
By Tammy Derouin
The people we encounter, the words that are spoken and
events that take place all impact our lives.
I had such a reminder this past week. I decided to take a Coke to a co-worker/friend
I saw outside. My first attempt to reach
him was unsuccessful. Something
compelled me to try again. I thought
it’s just a Coke, why do I feel such determination to deliver something that
wasn’t even requested? I got my answer
right after Buck thanked me. He said, “It’s
good to have friends.”
Yes, it’s good to have friends, yet many times we take them
for granted. They will always be there,
right? There is responsibility in a
friendship. Sometimes you’re on the
giving end and sometimes you’re on the receiving end. If the friendship is strong you don’t even
think of it in those terms, you do what you do because it’s the right thing to
do.
Many things take place that are beyond our control. When we have to trust others to make
decisions, it’s easy to feel helpless especially when you begin to witness
changes that are troubling. When those
in power make bad decisions, there will be consequences. Buckle up, there’s instability ahead.
America had a very strong friendship with Israel prior to
the Obama administration. We are a Judo-Christian
nation. The roots of our law came from
Judea. Benjamin Franklin wanted the seal
for the United States to depict Moses parting the Red Sea. Israel’s deliverance from Egypt could have
represented our deliverance from British tyranny. Egypt was a land of oppression in history and
in present day.
We must know our history or we will lose it forever along
with the freedoms we currently take for granted. Those in power are determined to fundamentally
change America. Our history will be
changed to suit their needs. They are
succeeding because we haven’t been vigilant.
We stopped teaching the how’s and why’s of our history.
There were two examples that took place this past week. The first was Oprah’s unbelievable comparison
of Trayvon Martin to Emmett Till. The
second was Obama’s geographical mistake on Leno. We either don’t know the
location of three ports or we’re too scared to correct the president.
Some may feel the U.S. provided a great deal of assistance
at a great cost to protect Israel from the evils of the world. By standing with Israel we not only provided
them with a greater sense of security, we also insured our own freedom. Obama is friends with those who wish to
destroy Israel and the U.S. He openly
consorts with the enemy of both our lands. By betraying Israel, Obama has betrayed the
United States.
When things go badly at the top, all you have to do is look
down to see where the problems began.
Once you begin to build with questionable material your structure is
dated. It’s only a matter of time before
it crumples. We’ve been sending questionable material to D.C. for too many
years.
Progressives follow a pattern. Once you’re familiar with the way they
operate, it’s easy to spot them in all walks of life. Progressives change words as the times
dictate but the meaning is the same.
They paint a pretty picture to hide the truth. They capitalize on mistakes or missteps made by
subordinates. The information is stored
and then used to their advantage. They
nudge people in a direction they probably wouldn’t have willingly chosen. Through an iron fist their will is
implemented. They also put “fall guys”
in place. If their plan doesn’t work or
a more nefarious reason for their action is discovered, it isn’t their
fault. They had no idea such
unbelievable activity was taking place.
They also have an unhealthy desire to be informed about everything
despite pleading ignorance. This leads
to devious activity which includes spying.
It was progressives that named themselves the “Shadow Party.”
Progressives want to rule from the top down. America was designed to be governed from the
bottom up. The people send
representation from the smallest town government all the way to the President
of the United States. As our morals and
values have decayed, so has our representation.
You get what you pay for when you use inferior material. You get what we’ve got when a society loses
its integrity.
Our foundation is badly damaged but still repairable. The
Golden Rule provides an excellent standard to follow. By doing so, we build stronger relationships,
friendships. What possible reason would you have to betray such a
friendship? The stronger the foundation
the better our representation will be from the bottom all the way to the top.
When will enough people realize that the one they put in
charge has only made things worse? We will
suffer a great loss.
“Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God”
