A True World Leader
By Tammy Derouin
I really get tired of asking how much more evidence is
needed to prove the actions of the executive are life threatening to America. In his statement regarding the radical Islamic
attack in France, Obama once again chose not to mention certain descriptive
words. It was what he didn’t say that emphasized
his true colors.
My, how times have changed.
The Canadian Prime Minister has more courage to speak the truth to his
fellow Canadians than our own leader.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper stated. “The fact of the matter is this,
ladies and gentlemen, that the international jihadist movement has declared
war. They have declared war on anybody
who does not think and act exactly as they wish would think and act.” He stated that war has been declared on all
countries who value freedom, openness and tolerance. He added, “We may not like this and wish it
would go away…But it is not going to go away.
And the reality is we are going to have to confront it.”
His words were spoken like a true world leader. I remember the days when America was the
world leader. America took the
lead. We didn’t lead from behind as
Obama has done. The policies of the
Pres-a-king, along with the ideology of the left, have fundamentally
transformed the United States into a weak nation.
Obama continues to dismiss Islamic radicals. He will not call them what they are,
terrorists. He wants Americans to
believe that these are isolated incidents committed by only a few
individuals. He refuses to declare war
on those who have openly made America and the west their enemy. He will not do anything to protect or defend
our borders but he will invite our enemies into the White House. Interestingly, when an act of violence is
committed by an American against other Americans, it becomes a nation-wide
problem that can only be solved by taking away everyone’s guns. This is just one more example of his
anti-American sentiment.
As Obama continues to claim that these are only a few
individuals, a very small percentage, we must remember our history. It’s those
small groups, the ones who scream the loudest and intimidate the most, who have
a way of causing the greatest amount of damage.
When the German people turned a blind eye to the Nazi party, the small
percentage took over and killed millions.
The un-American ideology which currently reigns in the White
House is crippling the United States.
Intimidation has come to power and it’s being used against Americans. The rights and freedoms of the American
people are under attack while the enemies of the people are befriended.
Obama refuses to call our enemies our enemies. He does however, inform us of what he intends
to do. Obama wrote a book called
“Audacity of Hope.” In it he states, “I
will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly
direction.” Our enemy is not his enemy.
At the United Nations he said, “The future must not belong
to those who slander the Prophet of Islam.”
He is making it very clear; Islam and the Muslim world are untouchable.
“I made clear that America is not – and never will be – at war with Islam.”
America be damned is the message I’m reading loud and clear.
Americans have been under attack for many years but since
Obama came to office he has made Americans much more vulnerable to attacks. We have seen an increase both on our home
soil and abroad. Americans have been
killed at military bases and beheaded in the work place. These attacks are not called terrorist
attacks. Instead, they have insultingly
been called acts of work place violence.
When Americans are beheaded by Islamic radicals in far-away lands, Obama
plays golf.
Obama has also stated, “If the people cannot trust their
government to do the job for which it exists – to protect them and to promote
their common welfare – all else is lost.”
Not only has he been telling us from the very beginning exactly what he
intends to do, he is telling us the consequences of those actions.
If the American people don’t dig down and grab ahold of
their…convictions, we will not only become more like Europe, something Obama also
said we need to do, but we will willingly hand over everything, our rights, our
freedoms, our country and our very lives to the enemy.
We shouldn’t be surprised that the executive snubbed France
and the world by not joining them in Paris.
This was a huge embarrassment to the United States but I have a feeling
he isn’t losing any sleep over it.
“There are no easy answers, but there are simple
answers. We must have the courage to do
what we know is morally right.”
Ronald Reagan
