Secretary of State Marco Rubio made it clear he does not believe the judicial branch of the federal government is in control of a president's foreign policy when he was asked about Kilmar Abrego Garcia during a Cabinet meeting at the White House on Wednesday.
"Have you been in touch with El Salvador about returning Abrego Garcia?" the reporter asked.
"Well, I would never tell you that. And you know who else I'll never tell? A judge. Because the conduct of our foreign policy belongs to the president of the United States and the executive branch, not some judge," Rubio replied.
