George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, following the release of a new report, said Thursday that there were "more questions than answers" about FBI informants at the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol building. Hundreds of people stormed the Capitol building during the certification of the electoral votes on Jan. 6, 2021. The FBI made more than 1,500 arrests related to the riot, according to a report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Turley said that the presence of informants who were not told to be there would be of interest to defense attorneys.
