"When you really look at what Donald Trump has done, he has had a concentrated interest in the black community and he's done things specifically, he feels, to help the black community — whether it's economic, whether it's criminal justice reform — whatever it is, he gets absolutely no credit for that," Levin said. "Whereas Obama is treated like, 'Wow, look at all the wonderful things he's done for the black community.' As best as I can tell, he didn't do anything significant for the black community."
"Not only did [Obama] not do anything significant, he made things worse," Elder said.
He went on to review a number of counter-productive actions and statements made by the former president that have been especially damaging to race relations in the United States.
