Continuous Fear

The images and stories coming out of the Middle East and now Europe are terrifying.  ISIS has been allowed to grow and terrorize not only its region of the world but has moved into Europe.  They will continue to push their way west.  They are not shy about their ambitious goal, stating that they want to conquer us, the United States.

The cruel and barbaric treatment of those who simply do not believe or live as they do is beyond criminal, it’s diabolical.  We are told Islam is a religion of peace, yet to be forced to choose between converting or death is not an act of love; it’s control enforced by continuous fear.

We are told that ISIS has become contained.  But, their numbers are growing not decreasing. They are moving west and with the help of our current administration, they could be located in an area near you, very, very soon.   Wouldn’t you think the leader of any given country would want to do background checks on those being admitted?   You wouldn’t let just anyone into your home, would you?  

I do not understand the Liberal Left.  Why does the Left feel it is necessary to be politically correct towards those who wish to destroy us?  Why does the Left tolerate the intolerance of our enemies? I thought they waged war against intolerance.

If the Left is such a champion of women and women’s issues, why has Sharia Law been able to creep its way into our legal system?  Sharia Law is not American law and should not be enforced within our borders. The treatment of women, children, homosexuals and anyone who does not believe in their god is cruel and sadistic. 

The ideology of our enemy conflicts with our values and beliefs; it conflicts with our Constitution.  So why does this administration go out of its way to appease those who wish to destroy us?  A nuclear deal was made with a regime which actively chants death to America. 

What is most frightening is the lack of urgency within our own government.  There is a very clear, a very real threat to our homeland.  Our government continuously ignores and dismisses the threat.  In many cases they’ve made the threat even worse.  They refuse to secure our borders and recklessly offer to take thousands upon thousands of undocumented “refugees” without any way of truly knowing who they are or what their intentions are once they arrive.

This, of course, is only the tip of the jihadist sword.  There have been so many actions, within our government, which have strengthened our enemy and weekend the American military, economy and the people.

Jihadist attacks are taking place on American soil and they will continue to take place if we do not put an end to our open borders.  We must also put an end to the practice, of which our government has become quite skilled, of giving aid and comfort to our enemies.  This practice does have consequences.  It’s all spelled out in that dusty old, document of ‘negative liberties’ the executive continuously tries to eliminate. Of course, there are several other restraints listed to keep government small and the people free.  Maybe that’s what was meant; negative liberties against the government to do anything it wants.

This administration rushes to judgment when an American or an American law enforcement officer is responsible for a shooting but drags its legal feet when it involves attacks against Americans by anti-American, radical Islam.  The most striking example is Benghazi.  How did this administration get away with blaming a video for an attack on our Libyan consulate, an attack which killed four Americans including our ambassador?  

We can see what is happening in other countries where political correctness trumped common sense.  Do we want to suffer the same fate as Europe?  All we need to do is watch what is happening across the Atlantic.  We have a modern day history lesson playing out right before our eyes.  This isn’t the first time Europe has had to fight against this kind of evil.  The Crusades were necessary wars, as were other great wars against evil. 

We have been infected with a cancer, an ideology which will destroy us if we do not wake up and see the jihad for the attacks.  War has been declared on the West.  But, for some reason, the West has been way too slow to acknowledge this declaration.  How long before we realize the seriousness of our dire situation?
