It Doesn’t Make Sense

I have my daughter to thank for getting the words flowing this week.  As I starred at a blank screen, wondering what I was going to write about, she asked a question.  She heard something from a friend who heard from someone…  The speculation began.  As we talked I tried to reassure her.  It doesn’t make sense.  I then looked down at the table and saw all the news stories that I had been reading.  None of them made any sense either, but they are all happening.  I left that little bit of information out of the conversation.

The government has our children.  It will be a continuous battle with the educational system to prevent the indoctrination of our children.  I already see it at the elementary level.  Lenin knew what he was talking about when he said, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”  Once you brainwash the children you control the future.  Evil dictators of the past have used this to their advantage.  Have we learned nothing?

The government controls most of the news and information.  This makes it easy for them to convince people that the sky is falling.  Humans have been devalued and blamed for everything bad under the sun by progressive propaganda.  Theory has become fact.  Weather has become an opportunity to control the population. 

Opposition to the current administration is now a crime.  The ability to think for yourself and to come to your own conclusions is dangerous.  Progressives want you to think inside of their pre-fabricated box.  For a party that demanded tolerance and choice, it’s now their way or else.  Independent thinking will result in being labeled as a threat to society.  Isn’t it strange that the left devised a campaign to eliminate the word bossy, yet that’s exactly what they are doing?  They bully anybody who doesn’t believe their philosophy.

Now the liberal media is suggesting that we should consider disqualifying those who seek a position as an elected official if they don’t share the beliefs of the political left.  So, if you don’t agree with homosexual marriage or global warming you should be disqualified from running for any political office.  Sounds like a tolerant and diverse political party doesn’t it?  It sounds like the beginning of a one party system.

Then we have the wonderful IRS scandal, you know the scandal that didn’t have a “smidgen” of evidence.  Evidence is surfacing which now shows Michigan Senator Carl Levin played an important role in pressing the IRS to pursue conservative organizations.  Judicial Watch fought for the release of many documents pertaining to the IRS scandal by way of the Freedom Of Information Act.  Thanks to their efforts, we are getting a more transparent picture of what truly happened. 

One of the documents I read gave the criteria that should be used to target questionable groups.  These groups and organizations would be subjected to strong-arm tactics in an effort to eliminate as much opposition as possible to the Democratic Party.  Targeting included any organization which used ‘Tea Party’, ‘Patriots’, or ‘9/12 Project’ in its name or organizational description.  Organizations that referred to government spending or debt concerns were also singled out.  Then there was ‘advocacy/legislative activities to make America a better place to live.’  Certain Congressmen, with the help of the IRS were targeting individuals and organizations who are concerned about the wellbeing of the United States.  These groups are concerned that Congress is spending beyond its means and running up an enormous debt.  Now think about this, our elected officials are targeting citizens who want to make America a better place to live.  What’s the alternative and what type of America are they attempting to make?  It doesn’t make sense.

History is repeating.  We are witnessing the same signs and tactics which took place in the Soviet Union, Communist China and Hitler’s Germany.  The opposition was eliminated.  Those who were a threat were incarcerated and eventually eliminated.  Those who didn’t care or weren’t paying attention were enslaved by the state to provide for the elite.  The Utopian dream of living equally, in misery that is, became a reality, except for the elite.  Lenin, I believe, also mentioned the term useful idiots.  These are the foot soldiers for the party.  They get the job done and when they are no longer needed, they too are eliminated.

Our existence as a nation is on life support.  Too many refuse to see the reality.  They plug their ears, close their eyes and sing a tune.  I sometimes wonder if it’s, “Everything Is Awesome.”  It doesn’t make sense.
