"The economic decline is the first technical contraction since 2011 and stemmed from an alarming 7.5% decline in business investment in structures and a 5% drop in residential investment.
Additionally, corporate profits sank by 9.8% in the first quarter, the largest drop in almost six years.
If the economy contracts for the current quarter, it will meet the statistical definition of a recession, having fallen for two quarters in a row.The Obama regime is blaming the weather for the decline."
