Land of Opportunity
By Tammy Derouin
Piles of papers arranged by topic form a circle
around me. In days gone by, each paper
in each pile would have been a major news event. If the press where only a fraction of their
former self they would be heroes instead of cowards. They would show a president and his
administration are either clinically incompetent or criminal in their actions,
as they do irrefutable damage to our nation. The citizens of this nation should be
demanding answers but the press no longer provides the questions.
Americans should know how the government is spending
their money. While honest Americans work
for a living, our government promotes an endless welfare state. This activity is dangerous for its own
citizens. It makes people dependent on the government instead of
themselves. When the government promotes
a welfare state for non-citizens, it’s not only dangerous, it overwhelms the
system financially and it brings our enemies to our door step.
The U.S. government funded the family who would
become the enemy of the American people.
The Boston Herald reported, “The Tsarnaev family, including the
suspected terrorists and their parents, benefited from more than $100,000 in
taxpayer funded assistance.” This
included benefits such as food, cash and Section 8 housing. Government assistance was handed out from
2002 to 2012. Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was
killed by police, received $5,566 for educational aid. He received Pell Grant funds, cash and
tuition waivers. Talk about the land of
opportunity.
Three college friends of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the
Boston bomber suspect who is recovering in the hospital, have now been
arrested. According to the AP, two of
the three have been held in county jail on allegations they violated their
student visas. Don’t worry; the Boston
Police have stated they pose no threat to the public. Meanwhile, American citizens with clean records
aren’t allowed to take nail clipper on an airplane.
There are reports that Russian agents had Tamerlan
Tsarnaev under surveillance and that Russia tried to inform the U.S. about the
Tsarnaev brothers as a potential security risk.
Reports are also emerging that a senior Saudi government official told
Daily Mail that Saudi Arabia sent a written warning to DHS in 2012. The letter warned of Tsarnaev as a potential
threat. With all this information being
provided by other countries, and all the surveillance the government engages
in, isn’t it odd that the FBI asked the public for help in identifying those
responsible for the bombing?
Reports are once again emerging that a Saudi Family,
who had been living in Florida, had ties to terrorists involved in the 9/11 attack. The Telegraph reported in 2012 that security
records show that Mohamed Atta, the leader of the 9/11 attack as well as other
9/11 terrorists, visited the al-Hijji family on numerous occasions. Neighbors reported that the family fled suddenly
prior to the attack. Apparently, the FBI
has 35 pages of information on this family.
Some of the information has been blacked out and four pages were never
released.
Whistle-blowers that want to tell what they know
about the Benghazi crime have been threatened by the State Department, the CIA
and unnamed Obama administration officials.
Rep. Issa has complained to Secretary of State John Kerry that the
department has not cooperated with at least one of the attorneys representing a
whistle-blower. According to Fox News,
“The Obama administration maintains that it has been more than forthcoming on
Benghazi and that it is time for the State Department to move on.” Kerry said, “I do not want to spend the next
year coming up here talking about Benghazi.” White House Press Secretary Jay
Carney said the Benghazi attacks were, “a long time ago.” Now there’s transparency for you. Deny, lie and after time it will all go away.
There was a report from Buck Sexton on documents
released through a FIOA request. “The Department
of Justice gave tech companies immunity from breaking federal wiretapping law
in exchange for allowing law enforcement to intercept online communications.”
What about reports that Pro-Hezbollah and Pro-Hamas
stations are being broadcast in America?
They copy images of popular children’s characters to spread their
hate. I guess freedom of speech is fine
if you are the enemy of the United States.
Being pro-Constitution however, makes you a radical.
To say I was drowning in information would be an
understatement. There are so many
unreported stories every week. Our time
is running out. Our government is
conspiring against the people. Our
president was willingly put in office by the people, not once but twice. There will be consequences for our actions.
“Barack knows that we are going to have to make
sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we’re going to
have to change our traditions, our history; we’re going to have to move into a
different place as a nation.”
Michelle Obama
