DHS expands power to initiate deportations - Washington Times:
The Trump administration has expanded the government’s deportation powers, issuing guidelines urging officers at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services — the agency that oversees legal immigration and naturalization — to begin the removal process for people who use fraudulent documents or who illegally took government benefits.
USCIS officers have always had powers, but in the past had usually referred cases to other parts of Homeland Security for decisions on deportation.

Instances of Voter Fraud Continue to Mount, Further Compromising Our Elections | The Heritage Foundation:
Clearly, as the 5th Circuit and the Supreme Court have demonstrated, the left’s argument that election integrity is a smoke screen for discrimination is fallacious. And as the Heritage database—and the Ritter and Mason cases—prove, election fraud is a real issue meriting a serious policy response.
Elections are the pathway to political power in America. So long as that is true, there will be a powerful incentive to rig results to guarantee victories. The failure of states to adopt and vigorously enforce election integrity measures only encourages voter fraud, ultimately blemishing the entire electoral system and harming the credibility of its results. This does a disservice to the American people.
One of the greatest gifts of American citizenship is political participation—and that gift is short-circuited by the left’s belittling of the importance of election integrity.

I am a legal immigrant and proud to celebrate the Fourth of July in the greatest country on Earth | Fox News
I am a legal immigrant and proud to celebrate the Fourth of July in the greatest country on Earth | Fox News:
I came to America legally. I played by the rules.
It took me four years, and it was the most harrowing experience I’ve ever endured. I spent money I didn’t have. I suffered sleepless nights. At one point, I was even turned away at an airport because a political opponent in the Obama administration placed me in a situation where I was barred from traveling in the United States.
But I persisted – the most American virtue of all – and I prevailed.

The letter, a copy of which was posted by Politico, accused House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, both of whom are white, of racial insensitivity and expressed “our profound indignation and deep disappointment over your recent failure to protect Congresswoman Waters from unwarranted attacks from the Trump Administration and others in the GOP.”
In June, an angry Mrs. Waters called for all people to drive any Trump administration official from any public space, following on attacks on White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen and White House adviser Stephen Miller.

Calls to Abolish ICE Omit that Majority of Immigrants Agency Arrests are Convicted Criminals - Judicial Watch
Calls to Abolish ICE Omit that Majority of Immigrants Agency Arrests are Convicted Criminals - Judicial Watch:
As a growing number of Democrats and their allies call for abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), it’s important to remember that the overwhelming majority of illegal immigrants arrested by the agency have criminal convictions. In 2017 immigrants with criminal convictions accounted for 74% of all arrests made by ICE, according to government data used by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center in a study published earlier this year. Sixteen percent of those arrested by ICE had pending criminal charges and only 11 % had no known criminal convictions or charges, the Pew analysis found.
Nearly 60,000 illegal aliens deported by ICE last year were convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol and another 57,438 for possessing or selling dangerous drugs such as opioids.
