After FBI agent confidently stated New Orleans attack was 'not a terrorist event,' ISIS flag reportedly found in his truck | Blaze Media: 

The FBI has since changed gears and acknowledged that it is investigating the incident as a terrorist attack. The FBI has not immediately responded to a request for comment as to why one one of its agents publicly declared that the attack was not terrorism in spite of such a significant piece of evidence that would suggest a terrorist motivation. The response drew harsh criticism on Twitter from numerous prominent conservatives, who viewed the apparent whitewashing of the suspect's support for ISIS as evidence of rot within the FBI.
