'We're playing offense here': Tennessee GOP hits wokeness with one-two legislative punch, filing bills to ban public drag shows and 'gender-affirming' mutilations of children - TheBlaze: 

Tennessee Republicans have introduced two new bills aimed at protecting innocents from mutilation and exposure to hyper-sexualized public performances. According to conservative columnist Matt Walsh, who had a hand in one of the two bills, "We're playing offense here."

'Protecting Children from Gender Mutilation Act'

This week, Tennessee Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson (R-Franklin) and state House Majority Leader William Lamberth (R-Portland) — both newly reelected — introduced Senate / House Bill 1, entitled "Protecting Children from Gender Mutilation Act."
