Utopian Bandwagon

Don't bite the hand that feeds you and
don't look a gift horse in the mouth. These are humorous was of
making two very good points. However, when it comes to our freedoms,
and the lack of basic knowledge about American history along with the
lack of understanding that with freedom comes responsibility, my
sense of humor goes right out the window.
As an American citizen, your God-given
rights are acknowledged in the Bill of Rights and they are protected
by the U.S. Constitution. Our freedom was secured by the bloodshed
and sacrifices of those who came before us. Because of the
continuing sacrifices of the American people to preserve and protect
our freedoms, we have the right to believe and live as we desire, as
long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others. When it becomes
acceptable to trample on the rights of others, those who do not agree
with a popular point of view, theory or agenda, everyone's rights
become endangered.
If you understand that freedom isn't
free, that it isn't something that can be taken for granted or passed
on to the next generation without vigilance and sacrifices, you
understand why you respect the symbols of our freedom and honor that
which keeps you free. The United States is not perfect. A perfect
land does not exist in this world. The U.S. Constitution states, “We
the people.” It is important to remember that it is the people of
our nation who are supposed to be in control of the government, not
the government in control of the people. If more people understood
that, they wouldn't be so willing to hand over their freedom for
false security and false rights.
The Preamble to the U.S. Constitution
states. “We the people of the United States, in order to form a
more perfect union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility,
provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and
secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do
ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of
America.” We are blessed to be American citizens. We are
exceptional because we are free.
Far too many individuals do not
understand how fragile our freedoms become when we take them for
granted. If you think your freedoms will always be available because
that is all you know, pick up a history book. There are many
examples of people and events, forces of evil, which can be used as
prime examples of what to avoid. History holds the answers to our
future by showing us the warning signs from the past.
There are individuals who believe in
ideologies which would enslave the population. They are all too
eager to remove your freedom and they will promise you many things,
mostly under the false pretense that something, usually a false
right, should be available for free. They discourage the truth and
belittle and mock those who try to expose them for the tyranny they
wish to impose. School yard bullying tactics become a weapon of
choice. The Left continues to encourage those who have jumped on
board of their Utopian Bandwagon, to sling insults, speak with anger
and behave violently. A practice that has become all too common.
There's no room for the truth on this journey to enslavement. If the
destination, the Left is proposing, were to be advertised correctly,
and there was some understanding of the warning signs which are being
ignored by the miss-guided travelers, their little red bandwagon
would be abandoned or avoided completely. False advertisement and
the discouragement of truth creates false realities and everyone ends
up on a miserable path to destruction..
If you have an issue with something
taking place in this country or a policy you do not agree with, you
have the right to voice your opinion. You have a right to try to
change things, peacefully. The American flag symbolizes your
freedom, your right to speak and make a difference. Why would you
want to disrespect or desecrate the very symbol which represents the
freedom you demand?
The Left is intentionally causing
turmoil, trying to cause chaos and create a crisis. If a supposed
crisis gets out of hand, and they love to fan flames because it
provides opportunities, do you think our freedoms will survive? If
our freedoms are removed under the pretense that it is for our
safety, do you really think they will come back easily?
If you understand the value of freedom,
you respect the symbols of those freedoms.
