American King

By Tammy Derouin

November 20, 2014, the day the president of the United States became king, emperor, dictator or any other title he wishes to bestow upon himself. I guess his title will be wardrobe dependent.  Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the greatest of them all?

Crown Prince Narcissist has continued his quest for ultimate and unilateral power.  The American people watched as freedom slipped away.  The presidency ended and the crown prince became king.  The American people sold themselves into slavery.  Shackles and bars will be provided at no additional cost. Well, not unless he changes his mind.  It could show up as a tax or a fine.  Demand is expected to be high, so if you act now, you will not only get the best fitting shackles, but you can exchange your Forward Colored Glasses for the new and improved, state of the art, global climate approved, Total Darkness Glasses.  They are guaranteed to protect your eyes from any false rays of hope…and change.

I wonder how the history books will record November 20, 2014.  I’m sure it will go down just like everything else in Obama’s court.  The truth will be erased and replaced with evil deceit.  Computer magic will provide all the necessary changes to turn a thumb-on-nose speech into the delusion he’s created in his mind.  Make it up, report it, and repeat.  Make it up, report it, and repeat.  The lie will eventually become truth.

If you didn’t get an invitation to the coronation, don’t feel snubbed.  Supporting and obeying his every command does not guarantee status or safety.  It simply means you were the means to an end.  Why, he didn’t even invite his top jokers.  Court Jester ABC, Court Jester NBC and Court Jester CBS along with all their affiliates were left out as well.  Maybe they didn’t dance fast enough or jump high enough.  I sure hope they liked their pats on the head.

The way power was seized wasn’t surprising.  Much like all of his other actions, it was done in a cowardly manor.  Instead of coming out and stating who he was and what he believed, he hid in the shadows.  He lured unsuspecting victims into his van by waving candy.  He then waved candy or possibly incriminating information in front of any person or group who could have stopped him.  This kind of story rarely ends well.  But, I still believe Americans are exceptional.

Maybe we should check the Drama Department at Columbia University.  That was some pretty slick acting.  His borage of American sentiment at the end of his edict was like watching a grand finale of fireworks, without the feel good feeling, of course.  He said it all so quickly, like he didn’t want any false, pro-American words to linger on his tongue.  I bet the last thing he wanted to say was, God Bless America.  So if he washed his mouth out with soap after his speech, that’s fine.  I felt the need to do some serious disinfecting after subjecting myself to that kind of wickedness.

Our Constitution is only as strong as we are willing to follow and enforce it.  Every unlawful action he took and got away with only gave him more confidence and control.  The people of the United States along with our elected representation share the blame in the creation of the first American King.

We were once a nation of laws, not men.  Laws can be added or changed through an agreed upon process.  Everyone in office took an oath to follow the rules. We have now become a nation of men, where laws are disregarded or added to fulfill an agenda.  Obama doesn’t want to work with anyone or any branch of government.  He wants what he wants and he wants it now.

Even when his party had the majority in Congress, they were unable to fulfill his every desire. If Congress doesn’t deliver the exact bill he wants, he cries, blames others, picks up his toys and creates a new game.  Why bother to have a Congress?  By not stopping his power grab, Congress has become obsolete.  By not holding our representation responsible, the people of this once free nation have made their voices obsolete.

It was a busy week for our newly crowned king.  He has added many logs to the racial fire burning down in Ferguson, MO.  Why doesn’t he encourage the people to follow the rules before jumping to conclusions?  Oh right, see the making of an American King.  Last Thursday also brought another little known piece of news; four al Qaeda fighters will soon be released from Gitmo.  Actions of a king are drowning out the words of a president.

“I’m not the emperor of the United States.  My job is to execute the laws that are passed.”

President Obama
