All the victims are expected to survive.

'Federal law supersedes state law': Sanctuary cities get serious warning * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

The chief of America's Border Patrol union is warning "sanctuary" ideologues, those officials who set up their own cities and towns as "sanctuaries" for illegal aliens and claim they will not help, or even allow, federal deportation plans, to beware. "Take President Trump and his administration at their word," explained union chief Paul Perez, "They're going to do the job of protecting Americans. And so it would be incumbent upon those sanctuary cities and jurisdictions to understand one thing. Federal law supersedes state law.

Court Rules Biden Administration Cannot Take Back the Gift It Handed to Three 9/11 Architects

Biden and his staff choosing to spend their precious few remaining days in the White House haggling over deals with the most notorious alleged terrorists of the past quarter century is without a doubt damaging to his legacy. Even worse, the dysfunction of his team is decreasing the odds that justice will be served for our nation in some of the most deadly attacks on our soil and against our people.

Critics say that New York Democrats' effort to punish the companies powering their cities will backfire on consumers. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) ratified climate alarmist legislation Thursday that will have the state confiscate billions of dollars from American oil, gas, and coal companies as reparations for bad weather. Critics have suggested the law will likely face legal challenges and adversely impact consumers in the meantime.

Additionally, the judge ruled that the Biden administration must turn over documentation to Texas proving that it did not violate the court's injunction. If it is found that the administration breached the order, it "would constitute unethical and sanctionable conduct, and the responsible parties could be held in contempt of court," Paxton's office explained. Paxton stated, "We have successfully blocked the Biden administration from disposing of any further border wall materials before President Trump takes office."

The Ghost of President Past: Joe Biden and 'A Christmas Carol'

Undone by his own party, kicked off the ticket in favor his vice president, his remains stored in the White House; he is left utterly alone. During the presidential campaign, his ghost was allowed out — reluctantly, restrained by the chains of corruption and graft he forged in life — to speak insensibly about the threats of a Trump victory, but never about Harris’ virtues.

Even a ghost can’t conjure what doesn’t exist.

Many leftist politicians happily trumpeted BLM's call to "defund the police." In October 2021, the Republican National Committee released a nearly seven-minute video of various big-name Democrats — including Vice President Kamala Harris, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, and Reps. Nancy Pelosi of California, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — embracing the "defund the police" sentiment.

Researchers at the Bill Gates Foundation-backed Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands have joined an international effort to transform mosquitoes into flying syringes. According to a study published late last month in the New England Journal of Medicine, they apparently now have an effective way of using mosquitoes to deliver some protection against malaria in unsuspecting humans — and possibly other payloads in the future as well.

Scientists have long toyed with the idea of transforming mosquitoes into "flying vaccinator[s]."

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a man plowed a pickup truck into a large crowd of partygoers on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, causing terror and sending at least 30 others to the hospital with serious injuries. The attacker then reportedly exited the vehicle and began firing a weapon. New Orleans mayor LaToya Cantrell declared the incident a "terrorist attack" in a Wednesday morning briefing; however, the FBI disputed that characterization, saying that their agency has not yet confirmed this.

Furthermore, just how serious this commission is remains to be seen. Yes, both Musk and Ramaswamy have put their careers on the line to make a political stand, and Musk in particular has put serious pressure on Republicans to reject a larded-up continuing resolution to keep the government open. However, the fact that DOGE’s acronym itself is a meme — so seldom a good sign when Elon is involved, it must be noted — makes one wonder whether this is just another way for Republicans to make empty promises to slash big government while sustaining it through compromises and backsliding.

Thus, if DOGE is going to be effective, it’s going to have to be brutal. Like, Milton Friedman brutal.
