Obama Appointee Blocks North Carolina from Requiring Voter ID | Breitbart:
U.S. District Court Judge Loretta Biggs has delayed a decision on North Carolina voter ID legislation until next week.
Judge Biggs, an Obama appointee, has temporarily blocked measures that would require legal identification at the ballot box in 2020. Notification of the delay was appended to NAACP et al v. Cooper, one of two lawsuits challenging the new restrictions. The decision comes just before a statewide mailing which would explain them.

Denver Sticking To Sanctuary Policy Following Arrest Of Hit-And-Run Suspect Who Was Already Deported Six Times | The Daily Caller
Denver Sticking To Sanctuary Policy Following Arrest Of Hit-And-Run Suspect Who Was Already Deported Six Times | The Daily Caller:
Denver officials do not plan on fully cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) if they release an illegal alien who was deported six times before getting arrested for fleeing the scene of a deadly hit-and-run accident.
Juan Sanchez, a Mexican national living in the U.S. illegally, is accused of striking a pedestrian in the Denver area with a vehicle and immediately fleeing the scene. If Sanchez — who lives in a state that largely limits cooperation with ICE — is able to make bond, his release back into the community could pose another showdown between local officials and federal immigration authorities.

To combat California wildfires allegedly caused by climate change, a writer at the progressive magazine The Nation is calling upon Americans to rethink the "seriously question the ideal of private homeownership."
"Yes, climate change intensifies the fires—but the ways in which we plan and develop our cities makes them even more destructive," writes Kian Goh, an assistant professor of urban planning at UCLA.

Mark Levin's speedy solution to the Pelosi impeachment problem - Washington Times
Mark Levin's speedy solution to the Pelosi impeachment problem - Washington Times:
Talk radio great and Fox News host Mark Levin, on his Facebook page, called for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to “put an end” to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s politically motivated hold-up of the impeachment articles, by declaring the whole matter “null and void.”
That’s one way of making clear the stuff and nonsense of the Democratic Party has come to an end.
Levin wrote: “Nancy Pelosi was apparently advised by leftwing Harvard law professor Lawrence Tribe to delay sending the impeachment to the Senate. So she’s unilaterally sitting on the impeachment. This is another brazen unconstitutional act.”

Mark Steyn Ridicules Ocasio-Cortez For Saying ‘It Is Fascism, What We Have’ In America | The Daily Caller:
“Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to have absolute control over the U.S. economy, health care sector, and a lot more. So far, it hasn’t happened, and according to AOC recently, that failure means that America must be a backward fascist country,” Steyn began by way of introduction.
“It is fascism, what we have. What we are evolving into, as well,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the clip.
Steyn then turned to his guest, asking, “John, do you think AOC actually knows what fascism is?”

WaPo Columnist Rips Rachel Maddow For Hyping Steele Dossier | The Daily Caller:
A columnist for The Washington Post blasted Rachel Maddow for her coverage of the infamous Steele dossier on Thursday, saying that the MSNBC host engaged in “a pattern of misleading and dishonest asymmetry” in her reporting on the salacious document in the nearly three years since its publication.
“As part of her Russianist phase, Maddow became a clearinghouse for news increments regarding the dossier,” writes Post media columnist Eric Wemple in his fifth installment in a series reviewing the media’s coverage of Steele’s dossier.

U.K. spends $2 million on electric cop cars, discovers they're useless for pursuit - WND:
The United Kingdom's experiment with electric police vehicles has seemingly ended in failure after the cars have been revealed to be practically useless for crucial law enforcement activities.
As the U.K. Daily Mail reported, hundreds of the vehicles have been purchased across the country by different police forces.
The total cost of the green vehicles is almost 1.5 million -- nearly $2 million in American currency.

Blue State Blues: A Decade of Fake News | Breitbart:
The idea of a “decade in review” article at the end of 2019 is a bit of “fake news.” Technically, the current decade does not end until December 31, 2020.
In that spirit, it is worth looking back at the past ten years through the “fake news” lens. These were years in which the mainstream media used false allegations and biased reporting to suppress conservative voices; they were also the first years in which, thanks to Andrew Breitbart, we began to resist them.

Report: FISC Only Asked FBI to Review FISA Applications for One Lawyer:
The court that granted the FBI surveillance warrants on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page has only ordered that the FBI review all warrant applications related to one FBI attorney and not all FBI agents involved in misconduct, according to a report.
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) earlier this month ordered the FBI to re-verify all previous Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant applications involving Kevin Clinesmith, the FBI attorney who falsified evidence in the FBI’s efforts to seek a renewed surveillance warrant against Page.

Trump Is Impeached—Period. Speaker Pelosi, Let Senate Do Its Work | The Heritage Foundation:
The Constitution’s impeachment process has two steps: Article 1 section 2, gives the House of Representatives the “sole power of impeachment” and section 3 gives the Senate the “sole power to try all impeachments.” The House did its part on Dec. 18, adopting two articles of impeachment. All that’s left is for the House to appoint a few members to act as the prosecutors and, as the Senate’s trial rules put it, notify the Senate that these impeachment “managers” are “directed to carry articles of impeachment to the Senate.”
If this sounds a little familiar, it’s not really different from the indictment and trial you might have watched on any episode of “Law & Order.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., however, appears to be making up a process of her own. She says she won’t appoint impeachment managers or send the articles to the Senate until the Senate agrees to conduct its trial the way she dictates.

NRA Alleges Gov. Cuomo, NYC Official Violated Gun-Related Free Speech:

Venezuela’s currency so worthless it’s mostly being used for making crafts | Fox News:
Venezuela – once one of the more prosperous countries in Latin America – has been driven into such economic and political turmoil that its currency is no longer of any use.
However, that has not stopped Venezuelan bolivares from becoming a commodity elsewhere.
Across the border in Colombia, Hector Cordero uses the currency to make wallets and purses, which he sells to tourists in Colombia.
“These bolivares soberanos notes are worth nothing,” Cordero, who is from Caracas, told Al Jazeera. “These notes I use are not circulating any more since last year.”
