Decked Halls

By Tammy Derouin

The Christmas season, despite all the hustle and bustle, is usually a time of coming together and putting aside our differences.  We have been told however, that we are no longer a Christian nation.  Well, when you take Christ out of Christmas, you remove the reason for the holiday season.  Peace and good fall by the wayside.  Such was the case this year in many parts of our country.

It’s bad enough our Pres-a-king is dousing fuel on what should have been a containable spark.   The minions of his court, including his wife, elected representation, appointed officials and professional instigators, have caused civil unrest.  Their words and actions have made the situation worse.  Racism and hate has been generously spread by many in the highest offices, using the lowest forms of tactics, to create problems where little to none existed.

We’ve been told that a crisis provides opportunities that wouldn’t otherwise exist; it will not be wasted.  It will be used to fulfill a political agenda.  If a crisis doesn’t form on its own, a false crisis, in this case racism, is created.   First, they need to manufacture a problem.  Stoke a fire, any fire and see where the embers fall.   If the manufactured story doesn’t yield the desired outcome, simply ignore the facts.  Yell and scream while flinging inaccuracies everywhere.  The false story is pushed and repeated until it becomes the new truth.

It is very disturbing to see so many people demanding that we relinquish our criminal justice system.  That’s what they are doing by insisting on mob rule.  Our justice system is exceptional.  It recognizes an individual is innocent until proven guilty.  For some reason evidence doesn’t matter anymore.  If the tables were turned and they were the ones being accused of something they didn’t do, would it matter then?  Do we really want to have street justice?  Didn’t America put an end to that?

This reminds me of another false narrative which the powers that be pushed to fulfill their agenda.  Remember when a “racist” video was immediately blamed for the attack in Benghazi? In this case, the powers that be didn’t immediately send a team to investigate.  It was as if they wanted the site to be contaminated so as not to ever have a true understanding of what took place.  A lie was manufactured.  Racism was blamed and mob rule took over.  The government didn’t want the truth to surface.

We are a Christian nation, despite the ruler’s desire to be otherwise.  I suppose this is another attempt to change our history and our traditions.  By chipping away at the meaning or the importance of a holiday, the more our foundation begins to crumble.  I’ve seen nothing in the behavior of the Pres-a-king to show that he has anything but hatred for the United States.  On those rare occasions when he has to say something, to at least appear to be concerned or upset, he does it with contempt.

This past Christmas, the Pres-a-king did his best to create an atmosphere of division among men. No matter where you were located or whether you had a green, white, or sandy brown Christmas, the Pres-a-king took care of the decorating.  He wasted no time and even got an early start.  If you listened real closely and removed the Forward colored glasses, you were treated to the sites and sounds of the transforming season and nation.

They decked the halls with scorn and hatred…Tis the season to be racist…Don, they did, their false narratives…Ignite the waters long behind us…See the blazing world before us…Strike the match and join the riots…Follow endless racist banter…As they make up untrue stories… Fast away our nation crumbles…Hail the new deceitful measures…Sing we woefully altogether…Heedless of the truth and candor…

The office of the president of the United States has been disgraced and dishonored.  The administration, which is more like a king’s court, has lost all credibility.  They have been caught in too many lies and scandals.  The American people have become the target of their own government.  Not only are conservatives in the cross-hairs, but so is every single American.  Americans are being used to transform this country into something it was never intended to be, property of the government.

The Pres-a-king once spoke about having a civilian army.  Have you wondered why the government felt the need to militarized local police departments?  Could there be an ulterior motive for attacking the police, the very people who keep the peace?  Using people and then discarding them and their cause is nothing new, it’s what dictators do.

Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la.

Happy New Year to all…and to all a free life.

“But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored.  Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.”
