"The law is the antithesis of the Second Amendment protections in both spirit and letter of the law. While the Second Amendment mandates that the ownership of firearms should be free from infringement by the government, the new California law mandates the opposite- that those who wish to retain their right to firearm ownership must, on occasion, demonstrate to the government the ability to responsibly own them."They applaud away their freedoms.
